Will I go to Hell? Which sins send people to Hell?

While there are plenty of thoughts and actions that are considered sin, we must remember that our sins are covered by the blood of Christ. That means that we were already forgiven for all our sins—past, present, future—when Jesus died on the cross in our place, taking the punishment WE deserve as a result of our sin. God accepts Jesus' sacrifice as payment for everything you have done or will do.

The only way you will go to Hell is if you do not truly believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin.

God does not want anyone to go to Hell (2 Peter 3:9). That is why God made the ultimate, perfect, and sufficient sacrifice on our behalf. If you want to avoid Hell, receive Jesus as your Savior and enjoy eternity in Heaven. It's as simple as that.

There is nothing you can do that is good enough to save you from Hell. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast..."

Tell God that you recognize you are a sinner and that you deserve to go to Hell. Declare to God that you are trusting in Jesus Christ as your Savior from that eternal punishment. Thank God for providing for your salvation and deliverance from Hell. Simple faith, trusting in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, is how you can avoid going to Hell!

TL;DR

There is nothing you can DO that is good enough to save you from Hell (Ephesians 2:8-9). The only way you will go to Hell is if you do not believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin. Why not trust in Him today?
